Welcome to Wakefield Youth Cheer!
Wakefield Youth Cheerleading is open to athletes entering 1st through 8th grade who reside in Wakefield. As a proud member of the New England Commonwealth Youth Football and Cheer Conference (NCYFC), our program provides athletes with the opportunity to cheer for Wakefield Youth Football teams while building skills, confidence, friendships, and school spirit.
Our cheerleaders participate in games, learn age-appropriate stunts, jumps, motions, and tumbling, and have the opportunity to compete throughout the season. Cheerleading is more than just a sport—it teaches teamwork, discipline, leadership, perseverance, and self-confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
Wakefield Youth Cheer currently offers four teams:
Based on registration numbers we may also offer a U6 team for our youngest athletes. This introductory team focuses on learning cheer fundamentals, building confidence, and having fun in a positive and supportive environment.
Whether your athlete is new to cheerleading or has years of experience, we welcome all skill levels and look forward to helping each athlete grow both on and off the mat.
