2026 Cheer Uniform Information

Required Purchases

The following items must be purchased by each cheerleader prior to the start of the season:

Practice Uniform

• 1 Black Practice Tank
• 1 Gray Practice Tank
• Black Shorts
• Red Shorts
• White Cheer Sneakers

Approved shorts styles include:

• Spandex
• Nike Pros
• Soffe Shorts
• Butterfly Shorts

Additional Required Items

• White Socks
• Team Jacket (required for new participants; returning athletes may continue using their 2025 jacket if it still fits)

Practice Expectations

Cheerleaders are expected to arrive at practice in the appropriate practice uniform.

Practice Attire

• Practice Tank
• Black or Red Shorts
• Cheer Sneakers
• Hair pulled back in a ponytail

For athlete safety, jewelry is not permitted at practice.

Game Day Uniform

The following items will be worn for all football games:

Provided by WYC

• Uniform Top
• Uniform Skirt

Provided by Families

• White Cheer Sneakers
• White Socks
• Game Bow

During colder weather, cheerleaders may also wear:

• Team Jacket
• Black Leggings

Competition Uniform

The following items are required for all competitions:

• Uniform Top
• Uniform Skirt
• White Cheer Sneakers
• White Socks
• Competition Bow

Competition bows are required and must be worn exactly as directed by coaches. 

Cheer Sneakers

White cheer sneakers are required for all practices, games, and competitions.

Suggested brands include:

• Varsity
• Nfinity
